Pupil premium report 2012-2013

The school received £12,460 in pupil premium for 2012-2013.
This funding was for 20 pupils, 16.8% of the total school pupil number.

The school spent the following:

Additional teaching assistant

7065.97

Intervention

10526.13

Training

700

Resources

80

Total

18372.1

This is around 50% more than the amount given.

We have used the money to fund additional support for learning: an additional teaching assistant in a class with a high proportion of eligible pupils to provide extra pastoral and academic support (eg settling in the morning, completing homework, individual reading); intervention programmes to help catch up in reading, writing and maths; training to provide interventions; resources. This is not an exhaustive list.

Impact: Across the whole school the average progress made by the 25 children eligible for Pupil Premium has been above nationally expected for maths and writing, and well above for reading. Average attainment across the school is either at the expected level or slightly below – current rates of progress mean that children slightly below will attain the expected level by the time they leave the school.
