Parent views

Your views

Parents’ and carers’ views are very important to us. We are always trying to find out what people think.

You can come along to a feedback group, or complete our annual questionnaire. On your way out of school after an event Teresa might ask how it went. Mr Johns’s door may be open to say hello. You can make an appointment for a chat to your child’s class teacher or Mr Johns about anything that is worrying you – just call the office or pop in before or after school.

We survey parents and carers annually too. The most recent survey was the Parent Questionnaire October 2015, completed at the parents evening. The questions exactly mirror Ofsted’s Parentview questions, with others of our own. There was an excellent level of response, with most families filling in at least one questionnaire. The responses were very positive and very helpful – thank you. Last year we reviewed lunchtime supervision levels, checked the new menus and invited more volunteers to help in class. To view the results, see: Parents Questionnaire 2015.

Parentview for Ofsted

Ofsted also like to know parents’ and carers’ views about our school. You can give them on Parentview (please do visit this site). We can also access these opinions and use them alongside our own questionnaires to improve the school for you and your children.

If you have a complaint, a meeting with a class teacher or Mr Johns is the best way to sort it out. If you need to know more here is a copy of our Complaints procedure.
