About Us

Newton Flotman Primary School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School providing day education for children from 4 to 11 years of age, serving the communities of Newton Flotman, Swainsthorpe, Flordon and Saxlingham Thorpe.

We are a “Food for Life” school, a “Healthy School”, and an “Active School”, (awards the school has earned) but most of all we are a Community school and a Family school.

It is very important to us to be clear about what we stand for. To this end we have an ethos statement that explains our mission.

In 2009 the School Council reworded it to make it more accessible to children.
Both versions are current and are available here.
